Like us, our pets are living longer. Unlike us, they age must faster, approximately 7 years to each of our one year. So, if you miss just one year not taking your dog or cat to the veterinarian – it can be like not going to see your doctor for 12-14 years!!! That is a long time.
As pet’s age – their bodies change. We work with our clients who have older pets and recommend that they have a more complete work-up (blood work, urinalysis, etc) done yearly as a method of eliminating possible problems. Each pet is different – so our doctors work with each client and pet to establish what is the best road to take to insure the highest quality of life’s expectancy for your loved one.
