Annual Examinations
We strongly encourage yearly (or in some cases bi-yearly) examinations by our doctors. We have all heard that animals age at an accelerated rate as compared to humans. The average is: 1 human year = 7 years in a cat or dog. So consider this, would you wait 7 years to go see your doctor? Of course not – and we do not want our patients to be developing things that could be cared for earlier on by merely coming in for their yearly physical examination.
To aide you in caring for your pet- the Hospital will send you a reminder card on a yearly basis to let you know it is time for us to see your pet. Please help us care for your pet by responding to this reminder.
As your pet ages – a bi-annual examination is important. REMEMBER: coming in to see us allows us to examine your pet as well as answer any questions you may have. That is what we are here for.
